...If I can say anything it is that she was and still is the perfect picture of what living life is all about...making every moment count because we just never know when we will be called home.  Louie you will be greatly missed...

I love you Louie...your strength gave me courage, your heart gave me love, and your will makes us SURVIVORS...

Angela’s Angels 

 

    I was diagnosed in 2001 with cancer.  When you are told you have cancer, you want it out NOW!!!  If I could have had surgery that moment I would have.  Saying these words "I have cancer" were so very difficult for me.  I stayed in the background with it until I celebrated my five year anniversary.  It will be TEN years this year (2011)!  I really have had just as much trouble talking about it now as I did then.  I feel a sense of "survivors guilt" because I know so many people that have not had the success that I have had and I feel so very bad for them and their families...I worried terribly about my family through this whole thing, how it would affect them, what would happen...
    My first year involved with the Relay was incredible!!!  I have the best team - Angela's Angels - made up of my family and friends!  They are the most incredible amazing people I know... I don't think I would be who I am without these fantastic loved ones!!!  Our first year, our team made Rookie of the Year and we hit the Bronze Level for fund raising!  Next year we hit Silver and now we are Silver again!!!  Wow wow wow...We will continue to be strong holding fast with incredible SURVIVORS on our team.  The Relay for life is in June 2012.  Come join us, walk with us, laugh with us, remember our loved ones with us...celebrate with us!  Thanks!  Love, Angela
